Fall 2017 Grants Awarded
The Grace Foundation of Destin Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that $52,600 in Grants were awarded for the Fall 2017 Grant cycle.
There were seven Grants awarded for local, regional, and international initiatives.
Christian Friends of
New Americans
The grant will provide financial support required for establishment of a Skills Enhancement Program (SEP) for the Ethiopian refugee community living in the St. Louis area.
Mark and Megan Mantey
Mark and Megan are career missionaries sent by LCMS partnering with Lutheran Church of Uganda to 1) build, support, and equip future pastors, and 2) equip and enable leaders in finance and business practices.
MOMS

The grant will assist with
childcare and operating
expenses for MOMS
(Mothers of Many Seasons)
at Grace Lutheran Church.
MOMS is a faith-based group of moms with children of all ages, stages and seasons. We encourage building up friendships, to meet together to encourage, support and tap into creative energy so we can embrace the journey of motherhood with joy and Christ at the Center!
Eastern European Mission Network

The grant will be used for funding for development of Learning Centers in Eastern and Central Europe. There are currently Learning Centers for Russian Lutheran Pastor and in the Ukraine and Austria.
Reins of Freedom
​
The grant will be used to help subsidize group equine assisted psychotherapy for children and adults.
Mission Love Seeds
The grant will be used to construct a Worship Center facility in Admiral Village, Antipolo City, Philippines. The facility will include a worship area, bathrooms, a daycare area, kitchen facilities, and a Fellowship Hall.

The facility will be concrete block construction and be a shelter for typhoons. It will include a water purification system and an outdoor grill.
David Kight
​
The grant will help David participate in the YWAM program in Switzerland - 3 months Discipleship training and 3 months mission work.
